International Seminar: "The Protection of the Environment on the International Commerce and Investment Dispute Settlement Systems "

On Thursday, March 13 th , 2008, at the Diego Portales Law School, took place the international seminar “ The Protection of the Environment on the International Commerce and Investment Dispute Settlement Systems”, organized by the Centro Jurídico ILC and the Diego Portales Law School. This event is part of a comprehensive cooperation agreement signed between the Law School , the CJILC and the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade (NLCIFT), whose ultimate goal is to develop joint investigation and educational programs, promote legal reforms to encourage trade, investment, commerce and development in the Americas .

The seminar was inaugurate by Dean Ester Valenzuela and by the President of the Centro Jurídico ILC , Mr. Esteban Tomic Errázuriz (see speech) . Panelists were important national and international scholars and practitioners, including Associate Director of our sister center NLCIFT, Prof. David A. Gantz. For more Information
