December 2007 : Agreement with National Arbitration Center( www.cna.cl ) for the development of a Program with participation of NLCIFT and CJILC, on International Alternative Dispute Resolution System

The article 22.21 of the TLC between Chile and United States, stipulate that the contractor states as far as possible, such part will promote and make easier the access to arbitration and other alternative means for the solution of international commercial controversies between privates in the zone of free trade ( this order repeats in the majority, or may be in all the TLC of this hemisphere), the NLCIFT, the CNA and the Centro Jurídico ILC want development a program at hemisphere level, with the purpose to provide the resources to Alternative Means of Solutions of Controversies in the context of commerce in the region. Concentrating in a first phase in Chile , United States , Mexico and Canada .

This tripartite strategic alliance, goal is to create a Center of Resolution of International Controversies, where, by means of process, like mediation and arbitration, solve international commercial conflicts, with a first approach to privates that give services and/or market goods in Chile, USA, Mexico and Canada.
